Senior Director, Budget Strategy & Planning

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field.  MBA is a plus, but not required

• 10+ years experience working within finance, in gradually progressing roles responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning and analysis

• Commercial acumen and a proven history of value creation

• Proficient spreadsheet and financial modelling skills

• Robust analytical skills, and the ability to see the big picture, while comfortable immersed in the detail

• Has a long-term mindset but understands the importance of short-term delivery

• A strong communicator and ability to articulate and argue clearly, a point of view on strategic and financial plans

• A strong work ethic and ability to operate under the usual pressures of a publicly listed company

• A self-starter, who will be proactive in identifying and implementing improvements to the current budgeting, planning and forecasting process

• Has an enquiring mind and personality, is keen to travel to our diverse set of businesses, as appropriate, to understand how they operate, what they do to create value, and identify opportunities to promote our growth and margin accretion agenda

• Has a good sense of humor and wants to have fun while creating significant value for our stakeholders
