The transportation technologies team provides the transportation industry with the confidence that its products and services meet required safety and quality standards. The team’s services cover all aspects of clients’ needs from advisory, auditing, certification and inspection to outsourcing, quality assurance, testing, training and more.

DUTIES: 

  • Create final test reports with cover letters for email communications to the requestor
  • Convey professionalism and technical competence with clients verbally and electronically on project request concerns
  • Create the project folders for adherence to the customer test requirements requested and specification requirements with a unique project number identifier 
  • Place the uniquely identified test materials into identified storage location, conditioning location and retain storage location
  • Ensure customer supplies the correct test specimens and specimens are inspected for adherence to specified methods and protocols. 
  • Create project schedules of testing based on the required test specification, methods or customer conditioning requirements.
  • Monitor and track the testing schedule for accuracy and efficient use of Intertek PTL equipment
  • Proof final invoices are accurate and testing service pricing is correct for work completed
  • Assist in training Project Coordinators in all required Tasks.
  • Assist in the overall operational aspects of the Customer Service department following the Intertek PTL Quality System.
  • Create accurate project templates as needed for large number of tests and samples.
  • Supply relevant technical information to Intertek PTL laboratory personnel.
  • Create proper outsource testing documentation. Main Liaison with outsource service providers concerning relevant technical information, requirements on test procedures and appropriate specimen requirements
  • Convey professionalism and technical competence with clients verbally and electronically
  • Completed project folder storage and retain storage maintenance
  • Essential duties required; answering phones, email communication, filing, ordering supplies, opening incoming packages, shipping requests, customer purchase order receipt, and offsite storage management.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience in customer service or finance or an Associate degree in Business Management or Accounting  
  • Experience in handling P&L statements and invoicing 
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have a proactive and positive attitude
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to make timely decisions and problem-solve effectively with incomplete information under tight deadlines and pressure
