  • Independently write reports and letters to clients using standardized templates.
  • Conduct testing, compile test data and reports into a final compliance report.
  • Provide technical support to sales team to determine the scope of new projects and develop pricing estimates and project timelines
  • Work with laboratory staff to plan projects, determine where and how projects can best be completed to meet client timelines, and monitor progress through testing phases
  • Analysis of test data to apply to Code requirements and specific field construction conditions
  • Perform equipment design and construction reviews to various North American standards.
  • Conduct evaluation reviews of revised products or production processes
  • Perform other work as required


  • Diploma in Engineering Technology or related
  • 1-3 years related experience; construction experience an asset.
  • Experience with ASTM, CAN/ULC, AC, CAN/CGSB, or NAFS standards is a plus.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work with technical personnel.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software
