The transportation technologies team provides the transportation industry with the confidence that its products and services meet required safety and quality standards. The team’s services cover all aspects of clients’ needs from advisory, auditing, certification and inspection to outsourcing, quality assurance, testing, training and more.

 

DUTIES:

  • Respond and facilitate all in-bound quote requests
  • Respond to and facilitate as needed all quote requests generated by all outward facing members of the outside sales organization (in network and out of network)
  • Conduct kick off calls / on-boarding of projects to the operating unit / facilitate project roll-out to assure client expectations are properly understood by the operational group
  • Generate pricing for quote requests utilizing provided pricing tools
  • Follow-up on all outstanding quotes through invoicing
  • Identify why quote was lost and report data to sales and operational leadership using data capture tool provided
  • Be the primary point of client contact during quote conversion process for quotes
  • Act as the client ambassador during project execution to verify client expectations are being met
  • Ability to execute in-person presentation on departments or multi-site capabilities
  • May be assigned to manage designated accounts.
  • Perform other responsibilities, as assigned       

REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communication, or Technical field preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service or sales
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Proficient Miscrosoft skills and able to navigation through complext digital job portals
  • Able to understand common industrial technical content 
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate
